Can you believe it's Monday, already?  We spent the weekend at a wedding in Little Rock and returned late last night, so I am exhausted!  

The wedding was beautiful-lots of rich fall colors and interesting floral arrangements.  Being almost 5 months pregnant, I was, of course, checking out the cakes from the moment we stepped foot in the door.  Rather than a traditional groom's cake, the couple opted for a dessert bar with macaroon (yum!), brittle, and some adorable monogrammed cookies!  I was in heaven!  Somehow, a monogram is just so perfect when it's made out of sugar.

Love...want...need one of these awesome planner from Whitney English.  Floral AND a gold monogram? Yes, please.

In addition to designing these bad boys, Whitney English is a creative entrepreneur and brand consultant. So, in addition to being stylish, the inside of these bad boys contains worksheets and inspirational quotes as well as the calendars themselves.  While her shop doesn't feature any images of the inside, the description is enough to have me wanting one....

Have you ever heard of Haymarket Designs?  OMG, they have the cutest monograms.  I love all of their nautical themed designs,  but I have to say that my favorite is their Zippity Zebra.  It reminds me of my favorite Scalamandre wallpaper.  How cute are these notebooks, koozies, and toiletry bags??!! I'll take one of each. Ok, maybe two...

I know, I know.  It's not really a monogram....but this bracelet is still the bomb diggity.  I've been wanting one of these bad boys from Charm & Chain for years.

LA?  Could this sample be any more perfect??!!  I love the design of this piece.  It adds a little jazz to your everyday monogram!

And how cool is this glass locket that opens from the bottom?  It's the perfect mix of industrial and femme.

Monogram Monday 6.17.13

In the South, monograms really are everywhere.  It's easy to slap a monogram on just about anything but after a while, it just gets to be a little too much.  Every once and while I come across monograms that are fresh, vintage and truly timeless.  Use that monogram on a beautiful object and it's truly heaven!

Take this gorgeous hardware from Nanz for example.  I don't even WANT to know what these cost (okay, maybe I do want to know....) but that won't stop me from admiring how gorgeous they are!  Now, if only I lived in a Gatsby-style mansion that called for custom hardware on all the doors....

 Have you ever heard of Julia B Couture Linens? They have GORGEOUS things!  And their monograms are different but still classic.  They offer 1, 2, 3, and even 4 character monogram styles.  My favorite is this one below, witht the awesome crown.

Lately, I cannot get enough of a monogram window treatment.  I first came upon this image on Pinterest, and you know how I love blue and white.  I am in love with the monogram linen piece on this treatment!  After that, I just kept seeing other great ideas!

Monogram Monday : Mr. & Mrs. Edition

After a fun-filled wedding weekend, this edition of Monogram Monday is dedicated to the Mr. and the Mrs.  There are so many FUN products out there for newly-weds, but how beautiful are these eyelet chair ties?  Gorge.

 

Is the mustache trend played out yet?  I don't care, I still love these glasses!

 

Isn't this cake topper adorbs?  Maybe not for the actual wedding cake, but a shower would be too cute.

 

And you know how I love a paper banner....

These passport cases are awesome.  Is it just me, or is the Mrs. one particularly fetching?!?!

I am totally in love with these bright acrylic monogrammed necklaces from Moon and Lola!  I've been seeing a lot of knock offs out there, but none are really as cute as these.  My favorite is this pink, block circle monogram.  If that's not your style, they have tons more-script, single initial, even full names.  Too cute!

Monogram Monday 4.15.13

Today's Monogram Monday is brought to you by White Truffle. I saw these classic and gorgeous pieces and had to share.  They are made of antique brass and silver.  I love the shield logo, and the vintage-style, stamped lettering. 

 

This bracelet is simply amazing.  That's all I have to say about that.

 

They even have great ideas for men, like these custom tie bars, which would be a great groomsmen gift.

 

Or these wax-seal style cufflinks.  Beautiful.

Monogram Monday

I can't help it, I can't get enough of monograms.  I literally have to stop myself sometimes before purchasing and think, "Wait, how many monogrammed items do I already have in this room?"  Usually the answer is embarrasingly high.

 

I know that I am probably way too old for this trend, and it makes me seem like a desperate wanna-be college co-ed, but I don't care!  I have always loved monogrammed clothing.  My mother kept one of her monogrammed 3/4 raglan sleeved shirts from high school.  It was kelly green with a pink monogram in the center top of the chest with yellow flowers.  She would let me wear it in high school, and ever since then I have been obsessed!

 

Lately, these Comfort Colors monogrammed shirts are everywhere...and yes, again, I know I am too old.  But when i came across these tanks from Southern Prep Co., I just couldn't help myself!  I am totally in love with the neon orange with the anchor monogram.  Can't help it, won't apologize for it.  Can't wait to wear one of these bad boys on the beach this summer.

 

 

She also makes some super cute hats.

These state shirts are super cute.  Wouldn't these be great for a bachelorette party, if all your girls live in different states?
